Even though he's literally written the text book on reversals (see above), Dr. Marks practices what he believes is the "lost art" of truly caring for each patient as part of the “Dad’s Again” family.
Education
After graduating from Occidental College in Los Angeles, and medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Marks completed two years of general surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and then his residency in urology and as chief resident in urology in Boston at Tufts University/New England Medical Center.

Community
He is actively involved in giving back, as an active volunteer member of the Tucson police SWAT team for more than 20 years and frequently teaching courses for the FBI, the Medical Reserve Corps and government groups to thousands of business, community, government, military and medical leaders on a variety of medical topics, locally and nationally. he taught classes at the Western Section of the American Urological Association for two years. He has been president of the Tucson and the Southern Arizona Urological Society and the Arizona Urologic Society as well as president of the Pima County Medical Society and American Cancer Society, Tucson Unit and on various Tucson Zoo Foundation committees (which may be the reason he was asked to perform a vasectomy on an African Lion).
