Kimberly: Randall had a vasectomy for 25 years and that’s why he didn’t think he could ever have children because he had been so long and he hadn’t had any prior.

Randall: I was 24 when I had a vasectomy. I wasn’t too sure I ever wanted to have kids, so I made it so that I wouldn’t accidentally have kids.

Kimberly: When we had interview with Dr. Marks, he was very positive and said whoever did the original vasectomy with Randall did a very good job and that the chances were very high.

Randall: He said we’re going to make babies if he did the vasectomy reversal and we believed him so we did it.

Dr. Marks: The number of years from vasectomy to reversal does not make a difference. We actually reviewed our numbers and showed that it makes no difference at all. Three years ago, and recently another study confirmed that the number of years from vasectomy to reversal; when the reversal was performed at a top center such as ours it makes no difference at all.

Kimberly: The clinic is wonderful. It’s very open. They’re very friendly. They make everyone feel very much at home.

Randall: I was told that I would have swelling and pain and it was very minimal.

Dr. Marks: Because of the technique we use, the mild conscious sedation and plenty of long acting-numbing medicine, most of our men are thrilled and in fact surprised how easy the reversal is.

Kimberly: Around two to three months I got pregnant and I found out the normal home test and I made a little “onesie” for Randall and I said, “No more sleeping nights” and that’s how I told him.

Randall: My older daughter takes taekwando and dance lessons and the younger one imitates her. Her older sister is the light of her life. The youngest one just adores her older sister and vice versa.

Kimberly: I can tell people about the procedure and about the whole experience; it was amazing from beginning to end. From the initial interview to the expertise from Dr. Marks, the wonderfulness of the staff, very loving and caring. They adore children.

Randall: They treat everyone like family. They treat each family like one of theirs. They’re always personable. They always greet everyone with a smile on their face and it’s like we got adopted to have babies.
